Web Trafficking
If you are in the internet marketing field you have probably heard about web trafficking. If you are a marketing expert, this is probably a tool that you use all the time to bring in revenue from sales. But for those who don't know a lot about internet marketing, what exactly is web trafficking? And how can it benefit people who are in sales? Web trafficking is an advertising tool. It is different than spam. Spam is unsolicited emails that you receive. If you have spam control on your email, the spam is routed to another folder other than your inbox.
Web trafficking sends emails to people who have requested to be on an email list and receive emails from the sender. The person gets on the list usually by checking a box on a webpage they visit that says "Yes! I would like to be contacted with other offers". Web trafficking is an advertising service that you pay to use. You essentially pay to have access to a list of email addresses from people who have opted to be contacted. Sometimes you pay a one time subscription fee and sometimes you pay an ongoing monthly fee, depending on which service you use. How does web trafficking benefit people in sales? The service gets your ad or information out to a very large number of people. Usually the number of people is anywhere from hundreds of thousands or even millions. This is exposure.
You need to have a great level of exposure in any business (especially sales) in order to be successful. You could have a fabulous product or service but if nobody knows about it, you will not make sales. The larger bracket of the population you can reach with your product or service, the better your sales will be. Web trafficking is just one of the many tools that internet marketers can use to generate sales income.
