Everyone I have talked to tells me to go with Aweber so I'm going that route.

I see you are promoting mailloop. It honestly seems like a gimmick. I read somewhat of the skinny page and its filled with "I made thousands of dollars from this program" type of stuff.

I would stick to a more reputable company such as Aweber.

As far as I know aweber is the best. The basic problem in free marketing software is that they come with bugs possibly with strings. I had bad experience with the free ones and now I am currently using the paid ones.

I'm sure the software works great. I originally tested it years ago way back when Corey Rudl was still alive and the owner and it seemed OK back then.

The main issue I have with MailLoop though is that it is installed on your computer locally. This brings a lot of deliverability and Spam complaint issues up that I'd rather let a large firm like Aweber deal with.

I checked out AWeber, but really don't like the idea of paying to give all my business strategies and information to another company.

How private is AWeber? Aren't they scraping all your ideas and having one of their sister sites compete against you?

I've been using Aweber for years and have never seen a problem like this. If you watch my show, you'll know I'm fairly paranoid about stuff like that and I still keep millions of opt-ins with Aweber and don't worry about it.

I've been using icontact and it's worked great for me. It was cheaper than aweber but once you go past 2500 contacts it's about the same price.

I've also used Aweber and still do. I like the interface much more than icontact because it "feels" more professional and much more "intuitive". Not to say that icontact is complicated but a little kludgey for me.

Another one i've tried is mailchimp. Cute, and cutting edge but they've only recently added an autoresponder so they may still be buggy in some areas. Also, the interface takes seconds longer to load so if your a speed demon like me it sucks having to wait 2 seconds longer just to get to another section.

Hope this helps,

Artemis

I guess it depends on what type of autoresponder you are in need of....

i have really enjoyed constant contact. It has less restrictions on loading lists.

The interface is super simple too.
