Onlywire.com vs ping.fm

I don't know, but onlywire is making me mad and I can use some of the boomarks because it says i need to finalize the sites, and I do and it still doesn't work. Ping.fm on the other hand changes the link that you put within box that you update social networks/bookmarking sites on. So does this "changed link" hurt you when you are promoting your site. In my case, promoting my promoters. Is ping.fm actually giving you a backlink? because when you go to the site that was updated by ping.fm, the link to your site/blog/etc is in the condensed form or what have you. So does it matter? is google still counting this condensed link like it would a link that appears in it's original format?

I don't know the answer to your question but just want to note that I had a blog locked by Wordpress because I set up ping.fm to post to it. The nature of the messages didn't suit the Wordpress folks.

You can turn off the link compression in Ping.fm.

These compressed links (services like tinyurl.com don't usually help you with SEO or having your links count in the search engines)

To turn this off, just log in at:

Ping.fm / Update all of your social networks at once!

Then go to:

http://ping.fm/settings/default/

and uncheck the box that says: "Shorten links in posts".

Click "Update settings".

That's it!

I like all of Onlywire's features but the auto-posting to the social sites has always been buggee...

I might have to jump to Ping.fm

I Haven't tried onlywire before but I use ping.fm whats the difference of these two sites and which is better?
