Hi Bill and team
I've been running a small website for a 1.5 years now, but in Jan 09 I started to SEO optmise the site and generate more traffic. Its slowly ramping up, but I'd like it if someone could have a look and see what else I might be able to do SEO wise. the site is »» FREE Deed Poll name change «« - Changing your name by deed poll, legally for free! It ranks No1 in google for "free deed poll", but for "deed poll" it doesn't come anywhere near the top. I've been slowly generating back links for a couple of weeks, but will have to wait and see if my ranking improves. |

Thanks for the reply. Its very hard trying to get backlinks for a "related area" - not that many areas that relate to deed polls. However - I have done some article submissions and tried to hone it to the area of law/family. Like I said I've only just done that, so I'll have to wait and see :-) I was wondering about the YELLOW nav bar comment, and it didn't use to be there, thought I'd give it a try, think i'll change it soon :0 My real question is to the internal SEO of the site. Inner pagerank (NOFOLLOW links) etc and title/descriptions. |

There's always high competition when you opt for short tail keywords so you need to drive more links from relevant and authority sites to improve your SERP for the short tail keyword.
