What if I do use PLR sites or freelancers to do the work for me? I can afford paying but how do I make sure that the content is original? I have to admit that I am a bit puzzled because I am new at this and I want to make sure that I don't lose. Please I need a bit of advice how to do this without writing myself as I have other things to do this period...

I prefer to write my own content for my blogs. I think that's the best way (although not the fastest way) to get unique content. Using PLR articles is not always save. Sometimes, (especially the cheap package with huge number of articles) those are just collected from article directories.

Content HAS to be unique, especially being in an age where content is easy to be copied and there is an abundance of it. The motto definitely pays of off, content is key. If you can't write it yourself, you should make a point of paying for it and verifying that it is unique and true. Search engines love it and keeps your traffic interested enough to come back for more.

I also write all of my own content. There are just so many bad article writers out there and I have been stung by them many times.

I have filled ghost writing spots for people who simply didn't have time to write their own content, but always remember that you get what you pay for.

If someone is willing to write an article at a cut rate, you can plan on revamping it a bit to compensate for their "ESL" efforts with your content.

When I have had my own sites, the content was always my own.

I suggest investing in a internet copywriting book such as Web Copy That Sells or Net Words and writing your own content. If you're a moderate-to-good writer, you'll be just fine.

There are many good article writers for hire. I recommend giving them VERY specific information, keywords, word count, etc.

If nothing else it is a lot easier to have article writers provide you an article you can than tweak and put your touch on to make sure it is up to par.

I usually provide them topic, title, keywords, word count and a sentence or so on what i want the content to cover. It takes some time but gets me back usable, higher quality content.

If you're passionate about a subject, I recommend an often overlooked resource. Go to a library - specifically a University Library. I've found more resources available to me than I could have ever imagined. The reason I recommend University Libraries is because they often have access to older texts (and often "fresh" perspectives).
