The contest was not found

I've started the contest. The pages are published but on the page it says:

The contest was not found.

What could be the problem?

Most likely it's a typo in the shortcode. If you have edited the page, there are some plugins that will modify the " and convert them to curly quotes try to remove the " from around the contest_slug in the shortcode.

I was able to get the contest up and running.
