Sandbox CB?

I couldn't find this questions posed or answered anywhere (although I admit I haven't had a change to get to every nook and cranny of this site yet).

Here's the question I have:

How do you guys Sandbox / test your contests? I wouldn't want my test message to show up on my FB wall or Twitter stream. Do you use a fake FB account (which would violate FB TOS)?

Do you use a separate domain / subdomain for WP test blog? (With that, does my CB license cover all the subdomains / blogs I may have setup on the same domain?
