Default Buying Contest Burner

Hi....i have been watching this forum for sometime trying to figure out if CB is for me.....a couple of things which dont add up and would be happy if you all could help clarify

1) How come for such a 'hot' products there are hardly any members or posts ?

2) 90% of posts that i see here relate to CB not functioning as intended?

3) Lastly most posts seem ancient - 2009 / 2010....hardly anyone discussing anything in 2011 ??

4) To my mind the efficacy of CB has gone down tremendously with the recent change if FB policy wrt to contests etc.....how has CB addressed this??

Would appreciate some honest and straight feedback....

Rgds

Hi prateek,

1. The reason for this is because all of our members are using our ticketing center. That way they communicate directly with a staff member vs. posting in a forum.
2. I disagree with this statement. I have seen several posts where people believe the product should function a certain way and it does not. When we first launched the product there were kinks, but we've worked them out.
3. The reason for this is again because the majority of our clients are using our internal ticketing support system for comments/feedback and questions.
4. I do know that Bill has addressed changes with Facebook with our Contest Burner clients.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks,
Louise

Hi Louiseg.....thank you for replying, although to be honest I had given up...

1) With regard to question 1.....when I said few member/posts....i did not mean for complaints......i meant to discuss stuff...how they have used CB and exchanging notes / suggestions etc etc....the way a normal forum works....i do not see any of this happening.....

will accept you argument for point 2....and will not argue point 3...although i donot accept it...

Can you clarify specifically on point 4.....how has CB addressed this?

Hi,

I appreciate you hanging in there. I'm going to be reviewing the forum weekly for any questions that I can answer.

As far as Facebook, here is the response that was posted in another part of the forum concerning this:
************
The current Facebook rules don't affect your use of Contest Burner. Bill monitors Facebook's Terms of Service and watches for newly released rules. And I believe he'll notify everyone when something important comes up, however, in the end, complying to Facebook's rules and regulations is the responsibility of the end-users, but we will try to help with updating you as much as possible.
***********

Let me know if you need anything further.

Thank You,
Louise
