Default Blog Post Points - Some Weirdness?

Maybe I'm just goofy but I have a question ... If I have "Points for Comments" set in the dashboard, I can't CHANGE the points on a per post basis? If this is true, if I UNcheck "Points for Comments" in the dashboard I will be able to set difffering point values on a per post basis?

Points for Comments is global.
You can set points for a specific post/page and those points are awarded when someone you refer accesses that post/page.

Ah. So, here's what I see (saw?) ... on a post I have a particular comedian who we want to promote more heavily so we want it to get 2 points instead of one. On the CB dashboard I have "points for comments" set to 1. On the post, I set points to 2. When I click "publish" "contest reverts to "default" and "points" erases to "0"

If I understand correctly, this means someone can recieve 2 points for sending someone to a particular page and the person commenting receives 1 point (if they're in the contest) for writing a comment.

That sounds like a bug - it should not revert to default and 0 - I'll look into it.

I was unable to find any issue - if you want I can take a look at your blog again to see if I can find anything there.
