How to promote?

Just bought it and have seen the videos.
My questions is what if my site have close to none users?
How do i promote the contest?
How do i get people to promote and participate in it?

I think the easiest way to promote for free would be to create a Facebook Fan Page. There are a lot of free "How To" videos on YouTube that will help you create the page. Then use one of the templates provided in this member's section. Make the page exciting enough to encourage visitors to "Like" it and click on a link to your contest homepage. Keep in mind that you will now be able to send messages to all of your "Likes" simply by posting a message on your Fan page wall (pretty cool).

To get people to your fan page start with your own FB friends and ask them for help to spread the word...good luck!

To answer your question though is a little difficult without having more information.

Do you already have website visitors?

Are you already 'in' the niche?

I have a website with about 100 users. I haven't touched the site for well over a YEAR!!

I will start with what I have, and use the tools of ContestBurner to get more people to come to the website. If only 10 of the people are active and bring in 10 more active people... I DOUBLED my membership base! That's awesome!

The next contest will then possibly double that.. and so on and so forth.
