Awarding Random Prizes for Points During a contest

How do you do a random draw for x number of points while a contest is still in progress?

Say you have 10 levels of prizes all with different point values assigned. And your contest is 2 weeks long.

On day 2 you want to award someone via a random draw that has X number of points. Then again on day 3, 4 and so on until the grand prizes.
