Are brandable domain names sold out already?

My friends complained that it's getting much harder to choose a brandable domain name now. All good domain names are used already. Google, Yahoo, Amazon, ebook, myspace, facebook.... Now people start to register weird and nonsense long domain names (it's not me but he said that).

What do you think? I myself believe that possible domain names is limited only by our imagination. It's not the domain name live the website using it. Instead, the website with its excellent products and services lives the domain name.

When I tried to register a domain name , the first 20 domain names I had tried had already been registered. That is not a surprising thing since many people had already bought tons of domain names for their sites.

Yeah, even one people or one company buy a bunch of domain names. I wonder people buy several names while they don't need it. For instance, if someone buy blablabla.com, he will also buy blablabla.net and blablabla.org, while he are currently using only the .com one.

There are still domain names available that are good.

It just takes some work to find them. Use a tool like:

Domain Name Search Software and Link Popularity Checker Tool

and some brainstorming.

You'll need to weed through a lot of junk, but there are usually still some "Gems" waiting to be found if you take the time.

If you have a look around then I am sure that you can still find pronounceable and brandable domain names. They might not be 4 or 5 character .com domain names though.
