Are you doing Domain Flipping?

I heard that many people are earning high income from Domain Flipping Business. As far I know Domain Flipping means selling domain names for profit. Like you buy some domains of a popular niche at $9 each and after few days when you sell those domain names for profit like $50 or may be $500 for each domain. Can anybody share his experience of Domain Flipping like from where he buys cheaper domain names and when & where he sells those domain names for a profit?

I've never bought and sold domains for intentionally flipping them. However, I own over a thousand domains and from time to time people ask to buy them from me.

I had one domain I wasn't even using that someone paid me $1500 for. So that was a nice bonus.

I have done a bit of domain flipping over the years. What I normally do is go to less popular extensions and find available keyword domains which I then try to sell through Sedo or some domaining forums. My highest sale was around 800 dollars for a dot HK domain.
