Post Buying a used domain

Which is the best site to buy a domain which is currently under use but might soon expire. I had checked other sites previously but couldn't find the right one. Any suggestions will be useful.

I'm pretty sure Pool.com is the market leader in that department.

You can try Deleted Domains | Search for Expired, Expiring, Dropped Domain Names. But if you prefer the free one, you can visit Expired Domain Names - FREE Expired Domains List from RedHotDomainNames.com. You will have to submit your email address to subscribe to their newsletter, and they will send the list of expired domain to your inbox.

Sometimes you may want to look at the history of a good domain and see whether it was used for good intentions in the past. many old links could be sent to sites that google doesnt like. Stay away from MFA's, porn, and gambling backlinks at all cost.

It's great a advice, thanks. I never think about that before. Apart from SEO-related things, using a domain name with a black history will affect our website's reputation. People will remember that such a name was used by a p*rn website.

You definitely should have some idea of what the old domain was used for before you buy it.

Try the Way Back Machine to see what used to be hosted there:

http://www.archive.org

If a domain was using blackhat tactics, was hosting adult content or banned from Google: That's not a good way to start off your new site.

I don't really understand your request. Is this related to buying a domain name? If not, please open up a different thread and explain your question in more detail so we can help you.
