Have you heard the news that google will banned your site if you have too many link in a short period of time? So, if we have too many backlinks, they will consider it as a spam. What do you think about it?

Sometimes I feel sick with google.I have several blogs that have been banned and removed from google index. Some of the blog have PR1-PR3 before get penalized.
But as publisher and webmaster,we need to move with the flow.Google is a dominant power on internet.Try not to disobey the rules by google. |

You won't get banned if you have too many links - Google will just lower your rankings if they think it looks unnatural; and even if this happens, you can slowly get your rankings back by having more natural link building patterns.

There were or still are instances when someone kept submitting links to different site just got banned. But you need to sometimes investigate little more and in most cases the webmaster submitted links to FFA site or any sites that Google considers bad.
Google's expression of directories that you can post links to is "what value this particular site will bring". If you submit your link to this site, what value will it bring to u. If you see value, go for it. A value can even be a backlink. I tested a submission to over 500 directories at one time, done in about 2 days, and I got ranked no.1 so it works any way, as long as directories u are submitting to bring you some kind of value. My rule is submit to 200 directories per month. That works perfect actually. |

If Google de-indexes a site for too many links too fast, does that mean I could set up my competition and get them de-indexed? This doesn't make any sense on the face of it. A webmaster cannot control who may link to him or why.
