My favourite keyword research tool is seobook research tool. Another reliable tool is wordtracker. What is your favourite Keyword Research Tool which you think gives accurate results?

Market Samurai is pretty good but I wouldn't recommend purchasing it. It takes the information from Google's External Keyword tool and allows you to remove and save keywords very easily.

I use a combination of a few of them. Wordtracker, Google Adwords, and sometimes SEO book. I think seo book runs off of wordtracker. I also use a tool called traffic travis. It runs off of the google adwords tool, has alot of other great features built into it and its free.

I like matt's free keyword tool. It takes it's data from word tracker, and gathers data for you on the amount of competing pages for broad of phrase match search

A lot of fairly successful bloggers and affiliate marketers will simply log into Technorati and look at the trends.
SeoQuake and SEO for Firefox are great add ons if you need to "sleuth out" what's going on with the top 3 slots on a Google page. |

I love using Market Samurai myself, just cos all the data is in one place, but it can be done for free, you just need to look around at a few different places to find it

While Google's keyword tool is certainly the way to go if you want to optimize your site for Google, I also use MarketSamurai, which I recommend buying. They offer far more features than the other tools and are always upgrading it, which doesn't cost you a dime.
