I have actually had some luck with these, but it was with one of my business to business affiliate programs. I haven't sold retail products this way.
My traffic wen up and I had a few checks hit the mail box from sales. Has anyone else had any luck with manual traffic exchanges? Most seem to be a waste of time, so I think I got lucky! |

Manual Traffic Exchanges can bring lots of traffic but not quality traffic to generate any sale. This type of traffic may be helpful to those sites which have cpm or Pay Per Impression Ads on them.

I have a partial success through manual exchanges. They helped me in selling some low costs products however they are not good on a long run especially when you are looking for targeted traffic.

Manual traffic exchanges may help you boost traffic to your website, especially if you start a new website. But, as they just deliver low quality traffic, you cannot depends on the way to drive long term traffic to your website. Moreover, as it's mentioned before, Google Adsense don't allow their ads is placed on web pages involving in traffic exchange programs.

As others have already said, traffic exchange brings low quality traffic. The visitors are not really interested in your site and are unlikely to stick around / become repeated visitors.

Setting a website just for your Adsense restrictions might be a good idea for people who want to use as many options as possible. That way, you protect your Adsense and still get traffic from sources that Adsense doesn't tolerate. |
