Default Audio in landing page

Do you agree about using a video in your landing page or sales page? Some people might be like it, but some people don't. Do you think that its effective for your sales?

I disagree to put any audio or video on the landing page.Landing page should be simple and full of main points that can convince visitor with the products or services offered.

Then, you can add audio and video on the sale page to support the facts. This step will give you more conversion and of course it will give your more profits.

I normally have my audio switched off and I do find it somewhat annoying when sites do have audio on landing pages. It also makes the page load slower.

I think that any video or audio should be well after the landing page, and it should never play automatically..

If someone's machine can't handle the load time for either type of content, you lose the customer before they even have the chance to get interested!

Hello, I really do believe that sounds and images that are not desired initially by the seller and can alienate any visitor and possible customer. The page in my opinion should be simple and to the object not filled with all sorts of distraction. However everybody is entitled to their opinion.

If you're interested in trying audio or video you should try it on your sales page vs. the landing pages. In the right markets, it's proven to increase conversions substantially.

It really depends on the product or service you are selling and what visitors you are targeting. Personally I would do the testing and than testing again and than testing again, trashing pages that loose to other pages and creating new competing pages for the winning page, until I satisfied with the results.

On the other hand, people are divided on 3 types regarding how they sense the information: Some people accept information visually, others need to feel and touch the product, and last group will convert only if they listen.

There are a lot of opinions about this. None of them are wrong, but I highly suggest you TEST this & carefully track the results.

I've found audio & video in landing pages can increase conversion rates. Sometimes auto playing your video can increase conversions. This may not be the case in every single market though.

I'll be putting out a product soon that will help you automatically test many things on your landing pages all at the same time. Test with an autoplaying video, test without autoplay, test with no video & test just using audio. It'll do it all automatically after you set it up. Stay tuned!

Well, there are several types of consumers, and I believe there are many people love audio and video on the landing pages. As a visitors, I don't like audio or video even on the sales pages. I don't like being told or showed something. I like to read as I can choose what to read and ignore the rest.
