It really depends on how you use each one of them.
Each one of them can create both high quality and low quality back links. High quality are those from a high PR (page rank) site that allows anchor text and don't assign the nofollow tag to them. Preferably they should be fast to create and generate both traffic and a backlink. Each of these require a different set of writing to get the most benefit of them. Press releases with news worthy information Article submissions (using a tool to submit to multiple sites) Blog comments (preferably with commentluv or another keyword type plug in) Forum posts - you can build credibility and create multiple links A few high quality directories Social bookmarking (has less power now than before but can be pretty automated with tools like onlywire, IMautomator.com) The key with backlinks is to generate variety in them.
