Cool Epassporte

I had recently heard a new type of payment method called as Epassporte. I think this company is reliable and it is directly related to the Visa network of cards and finances. Had anyone here used this payment option before.

I haven't used this, but would be interested in this.

I've also heard of pre-paid credit cards that work as a real bank account where you can use them to verify a new paypal account. Do these work this way?

If anyone else has had some experience with these, I'd be very interested to hear about it.

Hi Bill,

Actually Epassporte is just an online payment system such as Paypal. The online type debit cards are called I believe VVC. I can get those for example from my local bank.

I have heard about these too.

I would never have a prepaid/debit card in an account that wasn't mine. Why let another company collect interest using your money as principle?

One good reason to use a VCC that some of them will work as a bank account is if you're going to be flipping sites.

Set up your new site, setup paypal and verify it with the VCC and you're in business.

Then when you flip the site, it's really easy to just hand these accounts to the new owner.

Could also be helpful for someone who has many sites and only 1 company. Last time I asked my account rep at Paypal, they'll only let one bank account be tied to one Paypal account. So if you want to set up 12 separate niche sites selling products through separate accounts, you'll need 12 bank accounts. I'm not sure if this is still true since it was quite a while back I checked on this.
