Yeak I agree, you cannot stop trying because this means you give up and only losers give up. However you have to be sure who you want to target when doing this. I liked LOUISEG's comment about videogames testing and I have to agree. There are a lot of young people on myspace and many of them are into gaming...so I think that's good for him and keep up the good work.

I think the best strategy is to search for people of similar interests, leave comments, and make friends. They are likely to check out your page and what you have to offer. It is a lot of work, yes, but it is probably the most reliable way.

Marketing on myspace is like anything else; you'll get out of it exactly what you put into it. My Space is popular, there are a lot of people on the site. All it does is open up the possibility of connecting with people all of the country and even the world. However, you have to approach it in a similar way as you would if you were promoting your business in your own city. Make a connection, discuss your interests, and tell them about your business.

Exactly. I think sometimes people forget that people on social networks are actually real people and you treat them the same way you would people you meet in real life. You find people with similar interests, communicate with them...2 way communication... and get your message out to them, answer their questions, make friends.
