Need Help with Incresing the Traffic on the Web

Hello Bill
I have a website which was made about 8 months ago. I have tried with a lot of things and worked really hard with it but nothing much happened to increase the traffic on it.

Firstly I made videos of my product to promote it and submitted it to 43 videos sites.
Then I manually created accounts on social bookmarking and social networking sites which were more than 60. It includes blogs also but nothing has happened with the ranking of my website.

Daily costumers are about 5 per day and my web rank on alexa is 9-15 million.
I do pinging on a daily basis and also use word press as my blog. Moreover I use Onlywire,Hellotxt and pingfm on a daily basis to update.

Can anyone give me some suggestions which are the best ways to increase the traffic or am I missing something really important in it.

I would like to hear as well. I just started my website less than 2 months ago and I already hit over 500 unique visitors in one day. Probably a content difference obviously but if it can help your problem then any advice would skyrocket me outta here.

I would also like to know this. I've had a website for 6 years and Im wanting to turn it into a business now and get more people to my page. I get about 9 or less people per day. Where should we start to drive more traffic to our sites? Is the secret only social networking sites?

Have you guys used Google AdWords yet?

It's a great way to drive some traffic and you can easily do it within a pre-set budget.

For example I allocate $25 a day max and offer out about 10 to 15 cents per click. I had a big jump in traffc, user registration and user submitted content ( as that is how my site is ) within 1 week.


You can pick your geographic region, the times of day, and what key demographic you would like to have your ads show for.

It's really good for those that want to drive traffic to a niche website if you take the time to tinker with the settings and the keywords.
