Default Help Me With A VERY Quick Survey On Internet Marketing

Hi,

I need your help with a quick survey for a new service I'm launching where my team will handle ALL your offsite marketing & advertising. They'll do Adwords/Yahoo/MSN PPC, Social Media, Linking, Article marketing, press releases and much more (all the same techniques I use on my own sites).

I just have a few quick questions to see what YOU think about this service. Please reply to this post & answer as many questions as you can (I'm also interested in any general opinions or feedback you have on this too):

If you hired my team to handle you marketing, what would you want them to do for you?

What results would you desire to have from this service?

What problem would this solve for you?

How much money would be "too much" to charge?

How much money would be "too little" to charge?

Bill, this is NOT a quickie survey! If you'd asked this question of a group of brick-and-mortar store owners in the 80s, you'd have had quick responses. I would have wanted 30-second spots created for drive-time radio and depending on my product, a quarter page ad in a particular newspaper section to run specific days of the week.

Most of us are strictly online. Not many of us are truly established. That means limited funds to invest.

Depending on your social network, perhaps we'd want to pay for a blog post talking about our service or product with a box ad to run on your blog for a week or month.

Or maybe we'd want you to use tweetdeck to post URLs to both your blog and our sales page a couple of times a day for a week!

I have no idea what an hour of your time is worth, but I'm sure whatever it is worth to you most of us could not afford!

Hi Elaine,

I'm just looking for very quick answers. Take 4 minutes and type short answers. That's all I'm looking for.

Also, make no assumption about the price. I intentionally left out what pricepoints I'm offering the service. You might be surprised.

Also, this is a service that my team delivers. Everyone will get the same marketing services. This isn't custom 1-on-1 consulting with me.

Okay, Bill.

Understanding that I have not researched any of this, off the top of my head these are the services I would want from your company:

1. Create a video about my product.
2. Create buzz for it with articles on Yahoo Buzz, eZine, Squidoo, openzine, Sphinn, Hub Pages.
3. Use preprogrammed updates from your Twitter acct to promote those articles
4. Endorse the product on your live show and review it on your blog with a link to the sales page.

I'm curious to see others' wish lists!

Wink Re: Help Me With A VERY Quick Survey On Internet Marketing

Hi guys. Just finished watching Bill's latest broadcast, and came here. So here's my problem.

I do web design & SEO, but getting on Google page one has become fairly difficult in the last 2 years. I used to get 80+ uniques/day, but now down to 20-40. If I could get back to 80+, it would be a comfortable ride.

I think that the problem with web design & SEO is that all the keywords are saturated, leaving little to be acquired for Google page one in these niches.

For my website, webdesignbysteve.com:
  • CURRENT BL's
  • Google = 20
  • Yahoo = 1,733
  • Yahoo LD = 2,174
  • Current Index
  • Google = 436
  • Yahoo = 3,450
  • Bing = 296
  • Age
  • Sept 20, 2003

Granted, I do not run a continuous link campaign for myself, and this could help no doubt
- I think this post is turning into a cry out for Bill's services LOL!

ANYWAY, what I offer clients is a package deal of
  1. blog commenting links, niche specific
  2. articles spun & delivered to article directories
  3. press releases
  4. niche specific web directories (if available)
This service is outsourced via a few people I found at Digital Point Forums. I generally add a 50% markup. Here's a sample:

Package B-620
  1. 120+ Press release submission + writing
  2. 300 Article directory submissions (PR2-PR6)
3 Unique articles (500+ words) written by us to 100 sites each
  3. 200 Dofollow blog comments
  4. Time required: 10 to 14 days
  5. Price = $255.00
One of my suppliers had a website (now shows a 500 Internal Server Error) where he listed each service, various quantities, and the price. I feel that this would be good. Then he also had a form that asked these questions:
  1. Your Full Name
  2. Your Email
  3. Website Category - your Niche! (For Example: Health, SEO, Internet, Bingo)
  4. Your Website URL(s) (Deep Links allowed)
  5. Your Website Title
  6. Write Your Web Description.. Something about your Site.. (Each Description must not exceed 255 Characters/ 25 Words)
  7. Website Keywords - your Search Terms!
  8. Anchor Texts - Your 2-3 Word title of Link! (as Many You like)
  9. Article Niche, Or Your Website is About?
  10. Any Notes? Other Things you like to Mention!
I think in addition, twitter and Facebook posting should be added, as today this can be better than Google.
