Videos seem to have the most effect on people.
I'd say YouTube has more power than most of them combined. Btw.. anyone watch the movie The Rocker? |

Twitter is really cool because, like someone else mentioned, because it is like a mini mailing list. Not only that but you can get followers much faster than most other social networks. You want to make sure not to spam on Twitter so you are not reported BUT if you follow a bunch of people in your industry and start posting tips and tricks of your trade then they will in turn follow you. Then mixed in with your tips and tricks you can mention a great product you have or use and plug the link. Make sure to mix it in with tips and also to post tips a few times a week. Do not post links more than once a week so you don;t look like you are just on there to sell something. The tips and tricks will be appreciated and then people will actually take the time to look into your links once you have built up trust by offering these free tips.
This is just one of the ways to utilize Twitter. Mainly the best Social accounts to have would be based off of your products. If you are selling to a younger market then MySpace is the way to go and if you are selling to a family market then FaceBook would be much better. You can also use Bookmarking sites like Delicious to draw attention and then link to your other sites with your own product links on them like your Twitter account or your main page. I hope this helps a little bit! Good Luck everyone! |

I like Twitter, but I also find that FriendFeed is really useful. I have it set up to cross post all my twitter, personal blog and facebook activity, as well as other networks, so I don't actually have to post directly to every one of those when I'm in a hurry. I can post to any one of them and it will show up in my Facebook feed and other feeds like LinkedIn and Tumblr via my Friendfeed. So while Twitter is fast and efficient, without Friendfeed I'd still have to spend way too much time posting on all my social networks.

For me facebook because it is the number one social media in world wide web and since there are many users and viewers in facebook, if you post your ads about your sites I guess you can get massive traffic.

I think out of the list above, Squidoo is probably the most effective from my experience. Tumbr and Hubpages have worked very well for me as well. Why not use all the above though?
