Wordpress Show?

K, I would be a HUGE, HUGE fan of such a show. I've launched two websites over the years but never done a blog outside of Blogger. I'd love to learn what tools can be used to import a "Blogger" blog into Wordpress as I have one I've been doing for a little over a year now but it is now MORE than one topic now and I want to take it from a personal blog, with no cost, into many businesses now that I have a better idea how to generate traffic, etc . How do you import graphics, etc. into such a tool to make it look more professional, etc.

Hello Bill Here are my questions for your wordpress show.

1)Do you have recommended theme that has a landing page format. Or, do you put all the content in pages section opposed to the post section. In most themes you cant delete the sidebars.

2) How to use the SEO plug-in to top rankings

3) I really like your lightbox/ opt-in plug in. Any plans on releasing this to your inner circle members?

4)If you would like to share some specific SEO tricks to get blog listed on top of search engines that would be appreciated too.

How could a show be set-up on Wordpress? Wordpress doesn't permit any postings of a commercial nature at all; only straight blogs. They have no tolerance for any commercial content into the blog pages. They remove the site otherwise. Less than a year ago over 1 million people were registered with Wordpress. Now its about 200,000.... That's how many sites they've removed.

eMarketing, I think you misunderstood. I meant a show ABOUT wordpress. Not a show hosted on the wordpress platform.

Do you mean Wordpress.com? Because Wordpress is just a web platform. If you self host, you can most definitely put your own video show on a Wordpress site. Bill's site is a Wordpress site. He uses Ustream but the video is definitely ON his website as well. And that is perfectly legal. So even though this thread is about the idea of having Bill do a show ABOUT Wordpress and plugins, I just wanted to clarify that point for you.

How do you manipulate or change the menu items on the right hand side of the two column blog? The admin area lets you have some control but there are things that you cannot change or delete for example the "Meta" heading. It seems that I am not able to change things over there like I would like to.

Can you set up a main page on wordpress? In other words is there a way to have your visitor see the same page and not have the newestor the oldest page be the first page you see?
