Finding My Public
I'm looking for any "BRIGHT IDEAS" you might have on finding a targeted public. Here's my situation- In 1986 I co-authored a book for Painting
Contractors. To date it has sold almost 40,000 copies and is still in print. The publisher made a mint!
In present time I am putting together an e-book on marketing for Painting
Contractors. When I do keyword searches (the free stuff) I come up empty.
OK, almost empty, I did find 100 monthly searches for "marketing for painting contractors". I'm assuming that painting contractors type in "small business marketing" when they look for marketing help. But that keyword is too broad and too expensive for me to use on an adwords campaign.
One solution would be to mail out postcards directing them to a squeeze page.
So, any "BRIGHT IDEAS"?
