Hey all, thanks for reading
A few months ago I attended an online business seminar and since then I have been fascinated with the concept, and determined to establish multiple online business websites. My first foray into this has just been completed and I'm seeking opinions and feedback on my site. I'm looking for all kinds of feedback including SEO, design, marketing etc. So if you know your stuff and can spare a moment I would really appreciate it. My site is Business Printing Services :: Online Printing :: Business Cards :: Printing Services :: Astroprint It's an online printing store offering instant quotes on a range of typical business printing services. As a user, you can quote, order and pay online. You can submit your files through the website, and they will be checked by my team, printed and dispatched to you within 7 days. That's the basic concept. As I am a graphic designer, I have also designed the site so that with each quote the user receives an 'up-sell', whereby they can add 'professional graphic design' to their purchase for a specified cost. I've also incorporated a membership option where regular users might see the benefit in purchasing a membership which will entitle them to 10% off all their printing for a period of 12 months. An SEO strategy that I will be using is 'AstroBlog', which features articles and tips related to the industry, and I have also outsourced to have some video tutorials made which I will soon add to youtube and post in the blog. I'm hoping this will generate some good traffic as well as get me good listings in the search engines. I also have accounts with all the major networking sites, but I'm yet to fully exploit these. Today I will be also utilising a database of 12 000 email addresses of businesses in Australia to inform them of the site and features, and try to get some sales happening. So I am trying so many things all based on what I have learned by listening to Bill, as well as knowledge gained through the various books I've read and seminars I've attended. I'm just hoping some of it will work well for me! So if you have experience with all this, and have managed to read through my gigantic post, I would really appreciate your comments and feedback |

looks pretty good to me...love your cartoon guy with the funny accent...how was that done??? I'd like something like that for one of my sites. The only thing that was a bit confusing was all the A4 and other printer lingo in the products drop downs...but that just because I don't know the lingo. How is it going as you started awile ago.

i've seen websites from different printing companies and none exhibited colors such that of your website.
it's not like pink doesn't look good but since you're into the printing business, you have to show your prospected customers that you can offer them exactly what they need --- quality printing service. i think you need to update your site's color by making it look more professional. |
