I understand that you need some sort of legal protection once you ur done building your site.
Couple of things: Can you tell me the importance of a copyright that protects your website? So... what kind of legal protection or copyrights are available when it comes to a website and what kinds of legal protection are needed for my website? And where can I get legal advice or do i need an Intellectual Property Lawyer to help me get the appropriate legal protection ? |

What kind of legal protection you put on your website depends on what kind of protection you want and need for your company, and for your website, trademarks, service marks, etc. Legalzoom.com has a lot of information you can read for free. You can also get paid services from them. So they may be able to help.

I don't know where you are located but Barrigar Intellectual Property Group has some great free info on the site, they are intellectual property specialist lawyers, tm's, patents ect. Micheal Cooper is the firms senior partner on there site for free 1/2 hour consult. He is licenced for canada and usa.
A quick suggestion is to watermark any grafics, fotos, backgrounds ect, so anyone who copies can be found with these embeded. |
