One of the best way to monetize traffic is to put an ads and get paid per visitor. Which one that you prefer, pay per view or pay per impression?

You normally end up getting paid much more for pay per click. However you should have good traffic to your site and not some garbage traffic exchange program as Adsense will kick you out then.

I would go with pay per impression. Pay per impression guarantees constant revenue if the site is having huge traffic , further pay per click doesn't bring constant source of revenue as impression ones. In long run both of them are much similar. Ofcourse this is my personal opinion.

It depends on what kind of website you are running. If you run community based websites like forums or social networking websites, pay per impressions will be more profitable. Such websites usually get much regular traffic as people return and return again and they come for social reason and not ready to being offered anything. But if your website contains informative content in a certain niche, where people come to looks for specific information, I think pay per click is the better choice.
