Can anyone explain to me what Automated Blogging is? I've heard it mentioned a time or two and ran across a thread on the forum, but it really did not explain what it is and how it works.
Thanks in advance for any help! |

There is a program that you can purchase to link to multiple blogs. these blogs can then be updated with the same content simultaneously. IMHO, google looks down on this kind of stuff and calls it dupe content. Many use it to try and sell paid links to those not knowing any better.

There are many things that could be considered "auto blogging". Not all of them are bad.
Let's say you write 30 posts (or have a writer write them) ahead of time. You can preload wordpress and have them automatically "post" every day for you. This way you are "blogging" daily without having to mess with your wordpress login each day. There are also ways to use PLR or article site content to do the same thing. This is where duplicate content issues come into play. This is also easily avoided by re-writing or mixing PLR content. Or by adding new original content around the article site content. Even more ways are to automatically scrape sites or use RSS feeds to automatically create blog posts on full autopilot using a script. This is really frowned upon and not easy to do right. It's also considered at least "grey hat" and can get you're site penalized by Google if they figure it out.
