For this training, Bill went over how to recruit sponsors to give you traffic and prizes. This is an incredibly powerful tool which fits into the ContestBurner affiliate module. With this one tool, you can get all of the prizes for your contest as well as a ton of traffic.

Create “Contest Coming Soon” Page
Decide how big you want your contest to be. Guess a dollar amount in prizes that sounds impressive.
If you can, make it your home page. If not, make it very prominent & linked to from your site navigation so all visitors will see it.
Design it to really talk up how many people will play and how you are in talks with many awesome sponsors who will be giving out amazing prizes.
Drop in a paragraph or two about the benefits to the sponsors. Talk about how the sponsors will get traffic, exposure and new customers by participating.
Tell sponsors to contact you right away since sponsorship spots are filling up quickly. Put a contact form on this page. You can use:

Selling Points:
You will expose the sponsors products to MANY people throughout the contest.
You will be generating traffic to their site.
You will become one of their top super-affiliates.
You will send two promotional emails to the list generated from the contest after the contest is over.
You will run banner ads or text ads on your site for their product
You will make a product review post on your blog about their product
It would cost them about $300 just to buy the software and try to run a contest like this by themselves. The set-up and training to properly create a successful contest takes a lot of work.
What Do Sponsors Need To Do?
You’ll do all this and make them new sales and they just have to:
Donate Prizes
(prizes can & should be very high perceived value, but of little to no direct cost to the sponsor)
Send At Least 1 Contest Promotion Email
They’ll mail their list and just talk about this awesome contest they are sponsoring and tell their subscribers to join & win.
Optional:
Make a blog post about the contest
Put up a banner about the contest
Any other type of promotion you can think of

Gold Sponsor
Silver Sponsor
Featured Sponsor

The more they promote or give in prizes… the higher their sponsorship level.
Multi-Channel Follow-up:
Email 1:
Introduce yourself & tell them you’re a super affiliate who would like to promote their products and you have a very powerful, but unique method you’ll be using. It’s something they’ve probably never heard of before so you’d like to review the idea with them & get their approval.
Tell them you’d like to send them a nice spike in sales now & a steady flow of sales for the next several months afterwards.
Tell them to call, skype or reply back if they are interested.
Phone:
Leave a message with a teaser & tell them to call back. Let them know not to worry… you’re not selling them anything. That you’re one of their affiliates.
Another Email:
Tell them you are a super affiliate who just signed up to promote them. Reveal that you have a massive promotion & contest coming up. You have a sponsorship spot open and you’d like to promote their product during this event & mail your list. Tell them it won’t cost them anything that you just need to review the promotion with them. Tell them to reply back, skype or call you.
Direct Mail:

Send an invitation to them. Tell them you are inviting them to sponsor your contest & that you’ll send them a TON of sales. Put your link & phone number on the cards & ask them to contact you to get started.
Final Phone:
Reveal more details & tell them your sponsor slots are filling up and this will be your last call. Tell them you hope they jump in since you’d like to send them some sales.
Final Email:
Tell them you called again and were just following up for the last time since your sponsor slots are filling up and you really wanted to promote them in this contest.
