Communication is the thing that allows human interaction to occur. So its importance in business is obvious.
In live interactions with other humans, you can see in someone’s face if they’re getting what you’re saying, but on the internets you have to find these things out in other ways. When you send your customers an email, do they open it? Do they respond to it? Do they purchase products or services as a result? And if not, why not?
These questions are sorted out with testing. Using an email subscription service like Aweber, you can test your emails to see which get the best results. This makes the time you spend communicating with your customers worthwhile. Your time is valuable as a business owner, so you want to know that your communications to your public are understandable, appropriate and effective. Right? Right.
Watch the clip from this past live show for specifics on how Aweber works, results from my most recent split test, and training on how to use Aweber to test your own business emails.
Need more places to advertise your products and services? Of course you do.
And in addition to the 9000 other services Google provides, they now have one more: TV advertising. With Google’s recent partnerships, you can now advertise your business on abc family, amc, bbc america, adultswim, current, and dozens of other national tv networks. All that’s required is an Adwords account and you can get started!
What does it mean? What’s to come? Watch the clip and find out!
In a recent show it was mentioned that Apple is coming down hard on creators of the cookie cutter iPhone apps, the apps which are created using templates and which don’t provide much functionality for the consumer.
“What does this have to do with me, a small business owner?” you might ask.
Well, it’s an indicator. There are enough people using enough smartphones for their internet browsing, that companies started creating iPhone app templates so other companies could create their own iPhone apps. And this went on to such a degree, that now Apple has been compelled to start regulating the quality of iPhone apps which they offer in iTunes.
From this you can easily see that mobile browsing isn’t just a fad. And if you want your business to be seen and known, it’s vital that you start getting your business onto those communication lines. THAT’S what this has to do with you.
For training on getting your business seen via mobile devices, watch my show on Tuesdays @ 6:30 pm PST.

So in addition to all the smart phones being bought up as fast as they can be produced, there’s now this new wave of products.
So what does this have to do with you? Everything. If you want to be in the 21st century as a business owner, you’re going to have to promote your business in such a way that consumers can find you easily using these mobile devices. I give lots of training in this on my shows, so stop by on Tuesdays to get any of your questions answered. And here’s a clip about the iPad from a recent show below.
